Pricing
The platform is free. Three things cost money.
Our visitor management platform costs your community nothing. No subscription, no per-resident fee, no per-gate fee, no setup charge.
- No subscription
- No contract
- No card
- No per-resident fee
The three are SMS, access control integration and white labeling, each explained below with the bill we pay for it. Everything else Max Security USA does, from guarding and patrol to cameras and access control, is quoted per site, and we print no invented figures here.
Visitor management platform
$0
per month, per resident, per gate, for ever
For every resident, guard and gate at your community, however many you have. We do the setup and the guard training ourselves, and we do not bill for that either.
What free includes
This list is the whole product. We do not keep a better tier behind it.
- Residents pre-register their own visitors, including the weekly landscaper and the party list
- A scan at the gate returns allow or refuse, with the reason, so the guard is not guessing at the arm
- A live log of every entry and exit, with plate, host and time
- Apple Wallet passes that show as void when the resident revokes the pass or cancels the visit
- Work orders and maintenance requests with a status the resident can see
- Amenity booking for the clubhouse, pool and courts, under your own rules and hours
- Announcements and messages by email and in the app, in each resident’s language
- Deny lists, community watchlists and BOLO alerts, with each plate read checked against the deny list, deny entries on the watchlist and open BOLOs
- Parking, resident vehicle registration and violations
- Incident logs with the evidence attached, and emergency broadcast
- Community documents, bylaws and forms, filed where residents can find them
- Board reports on entries, refusals, violations and vendor activity
- Eleven languages across the app, the emails and the notifications
- Shift handover notes, and post orders each guard acknowledges in our iPhone and Android guard apps, now in testing
- Unlimited residents, guards, gates and passes
- Configuration, resident import, guard training and ongoing support, done by us
The full feature detail lives on the visitor management page. Native iOS and Android apps are in testing. Everything above works in a browser today.
Why it is free
We give it away because we are a guard company.
Max Security USA is a guard company, founded and led by decorated law enforcement veterans. We put guards in booths and patrol cars on the road, and people watch our cameras. That is what we sell.
We built this platform because our own guards needed it. A guard at the arm with a clipboard and a phone cannot know who is expected tonight, and almost every complaint a board hears about its gate starts there.
The arithmetic is simple. A community already running this platform is one we can serve properly if it ever wants guarding, patrol or cameras. Some will hire us and most will not. We would rather be useful to every HOA in our service area than sell a subscription to a few dozen of them. A per-resident fee would earn us a modest amount of money and cost us the introduction to the board, which is what the platform is for.
Resident data is not for sale, residents see no advertising, and we take no cut of anything a community collects.
What costs money, and why
What we charge for.
None of the three is a locked feature or an upsell tier. Each has a cost we can point to: a carrier’s per-message charge, an installer working at your property, or design work and a domain that has to be kept running. A community can run the whole platform without any of the three.
Text messaging (SMS)
Because the carrier bills us for every message
We buy every text from a carrier. Before a community can send its first one, the number it sends from has to clear 10DLC registration, the paperwork US carriers require for business texting, and that registration has a fee of its own.
You pay only if your community switches SMS on, and only for the texts you send. Email and in-app notifications stay free and unlimited.
Access control integration
Because it is hardware and a licensed installer
Opening a gate arm, a pedestrian gate or the clubhouse door from the same pass takes physical equipment: a controller, cabling to it, and a licensed installer working at your property.
Surveyed and quoted per site, because no two properties have the same gates, panels or wiring. The free platform runs alongside whatever access control you already have, including none.
White labeling
Because it is design work done once, for one community
Your association’s own name, colors and domain on the resident app, the emails and the Wallet passes, with our branding taken off. That is design and engineering done once for one community, plus a domain and certificates that have to be kept running.
Quoted per community. An unbranded community gets the same features, on our domain, with our name on the pass.
That is the whole list. We do not charge for more residents, guards, gates, passes, storage, announcements or reports, or for support, training or languages. If somebody ever quotes you for something on the free list, it is a mistake.
Max Security USA services
People and equipment are quoted per site.
Anything that involves a guard’s hours, a vehicle, a camera or an installer depends on your property, so we do not publish a rate. We survey the property, and you have a written quote within a few days.
On-site and remote gate guarding
A staffed booth, or a remote guard working your gate and lobby from our monitoring center around the clock. The remote option is often what keeps the overnight shift from going unfilled.
Read more →Vehicle patrol
Marked patrol vehicles and roving guards: a car residents see on the road, and a guard who shows up when there is a call.
Read more →Cameras and monitoring
Camera installation and live monitoring, on the same feeds that traffic enforcement and plate reading use. Priced on the camera count, the site, and how much of it is watched live.
Read more →Access control and gates
Gate automation, entry systems and credentials for residents and vendors. This is the gate hardware the free platform connects to.
Read more →Traffic safety and enforcement
Stop-sign and speed violations caught on the cameras you already have, with the evidence for your board’s own enforcement process. A person reviews every violation before any notice goes out. Scoped and priced per community.
Read more →Guardina, the AI gate intercom
Answers every gate call, day and night. An approved visitor gets the gate opened in seconds, and anything it cannot settle goes to a human guard. In early access, quoted per site.

A person sets up every community.
A platform that hands out gate passes for a named property should know who it is handing them to. So every community is verified first: the association, the property, and who sits on the board. Then we set the site up and the board reviews it before any resident is invited. That takes a few days, and you do not have to do anything else.
Step 1: A fifteen-minute call
We ask how many gates you have and whether they are staffed. Then we ask what keeps coming back to the board.
Step 2: We verify and configure
We confirm the association and the property. Then we set up the gates, units, guard posts, amenity rules and hours, and import the resident list.
Step 3: Guards first, then residents
The booth goes live before the community does, so the first resident at the gate does not meet a guard who has never scanned a pass.
None of this is billed, and neither is the support afterwards.
FAQ
Questions boards ask us.

Nothing here is legal advice, and where an answer depends on your governing documents or on state law we say so. The details of what we hold and for how long are in the privacy policy and the terms, or email [email protected] and a person will answer.
