Virtual gate guards and community security for Georgia HOAs.

Max Security USA works Georgia gates from its monitoring center with licensed security guards, puts a guard in the booth where a community needs one, and sets up its visitor management platform free for any association. A guard by day and a virtual guard at night is a common shape.

Virtual and hybrid gate guarding

Virtual gate guards for Georgia HOAs.

Georgia communities can have a licensed security guard work the gate from our monitoring center: answering the call box, checking each visitor against the community’s live records, opening or refusing, and watching the entrance on your cameras between arrivals.

Greeted as they pull up

The licensed security guard at our monitoring center sees the car pull up on your cameras and greets the visitor right away, without the visitor pressing anything. The guard checks the pass, then opens or refuses.

A guard by day, virtual at night

A common schedule keeps a licensed security guard in the booth for the busy daytime hours and goes virtual for the other sixteen. Both halves come from Max Security USA or trusted partners.

Equipment usually included

We work with the cameras and intercom you have, and new equipment is usually included at no extra charge. We can offer a 90-day trial, and the resident platform stays free either way.

A virtual guard reaches any Georgia gate that has cameras with a usable view, an intercom, a gate that opens remotely and a connection with a backup. The survey checks all four before anyone quotes.

On the ground in Georgia

What is different about a Georgia gate.

What the Georgia Board requires of the guards, and how we handle recording at the intercom.

24 hours of classroom training

Since January 1, 2022, the Georgia Board of Private Detective and Security Agencies has required at least 24 hours of classroom instruction for private security employees, and 8 hours of continuing education before a registration is renewed.

Armed guards need a Board permit

An armed guard needs at least 15 hours of handgun training with a qualifying score of 80 percent, and a weapon permit the Board issues at its discretion. Most gate posts are unarmed; the post order says which yours is.

Notice at the intercom

Where the gate intercom records audio, we put a notice at the gate and agree retention with the board in writing, whatever the state’s minimum, because a visitor should know the call is recorded.

None of this is legal advice. Where a rule matters to your association, confirm it with counsel.

Where we work

Anywhere in Georgia.

The virtual guard and the free platform reach any Georgia community. Guards on site and patrol are quoted per site, by us or a trusted partner, so tell us where the property is.

What it costs

The platform is free and three things are not.

The visitor management platform costs a Georgia association nothing: no subscription, no per-unit fee, whether or not we ever guard your gate. Guarding is quoted per site after a survey; the equipment is usually included at no extra charge, and we can offer a 90-day trial. See the pricing page

Text messaging (SMS)

Charged per message, and only if you switch it on. Email and in-app notifications stay free.

Access control integration

Hardware and a licensed installer. Surveyed first, then quoted per site.

White labeling

Your own branding on the app, the emails and the passes, quoted per community.
