Nassau & Suffolk · Our home market
Community security on Long Island, from an office on Jericho Turnpike.
Max Security USA works out of 709 W Jericho Tpke in Huntington. The company was founded here by decorated law enforcement veterans who between them have more than 130 years of service.
- Huntington, NY — on the Island
- Platform free for any LI community
- NYS licensed guards

The visitor management platform costs a Long Island HOA nothing. Guarding, patrol, cameras and gate work are Max Security USA services, and we quote those per site.
Communities we work with include Country Pointe Preserve in Yaphank, New York.
Virtual and hybrid gate guarding
Virtual gate guards for Long Island HOAs.
Long Island communities can have a licensed security guard work the gate from our monitoring center: answering the call box, checking each visitor against the community’s live records, opening or refusing, and watching the entrance on your cameras between arrivals.
Greeted as they pull up
The licensed security guard at our monitoring center sees the car pull up on your cameras and greets the visitor right away, without the visitor pressing anything. The guard checks the pass, then opens or refuses.
A guard by day, virtual at night
A common schedule keeps a licensed security guard in the booth for the busy daytime hours and goes virtual for the other sixteen. Both halves come from Max Security USA or trusted partners.
Equipment usually included
We work with the cameras and intercom you have, and new equipment is usually included at no extra charge. We can offer a 90-day trial, and the resident platform stays free either way.
This is our home market. The office is on Jericho Turnpike in Huntington, so when the remote guard’s escalation plan calls for a patrol car or a guard on site, one is close by.
What it costs
The platform costs nothing. Three things do.
For any Long Island community
$0
The whole platform, every resident and every guard on it, set up and supported by us. That holds whether we guard your gate or not.
What costs money, and why
Three things carry a charge, and behind each one is a carrier, an installer or hours of bespoke work.
Text messaging (SMS)
Every text costs money at the carrier, and the carrier makes us register before we send one. We charge for it only if you switch it on. Email and in-app messages stay free, with no cap.
Access control integration
Putting the gate arm and the clubhouse door on the same pass takes hardware, wiring and a licensed installer, so we quote it per site.
White labeling
Your own name and domain on the app, the emails and the passes. It is bespoke work, and we quote it per community.
Local conditions
What comes up at a Long Island board table.
Long Island is not one market. A condo off Northern Boulevard and a gated lane in Water Mill have different problems, but these six come up at both tables.
Vendor traffic runs on a calendar
Landscapers every week from April to November. Pool openings and closings. Oil deliveries and the snow contractor from December on. Same trucks, same days, for years. Set the window once instead of calling the booth every Tuesday.
Private roads, public expectations
HOA and condo roads are private property, and town and village police will generally not run radar on them. The only speed limit that gets enforced is the one in your own rules, and a rule needs evidence behind it.
The week after a storm
Nor’easters and the tail ends of hurricanes are on the calendar here. Anyone who was on the Island for Sandy or Isaias remembers the week after, when tree crews and adjusters nobody at the booth had seen before came through all at once. That is the week a complete gate log earns its keep.
The East End swings twice a year
Between Memorial Day and Labor Day the South Fork and the North Fork fill with summer tenants, caterers and party guests. By October they are gone. Access has to be handed out for a season and taken back without anyone chasing it.
A patchwork of jurisdictions
Nassau PD on one side of the county line, Suffolk PD across the five western towns, and town and village departments once you are out east. Who the booth calls depends on the address, and that belongs on paper at set-up, before the night it is needed.
Volunteer boards with real budgets
A lot of communities here are age-restricted developments, condo associations and co-ops run by volunteers who have to explain every line of the budget to their neighbours. That is a large part of why the platform is free.
Where we work
Nassau and Suffolk, end to end.
The platform runs anywhere on the Island. A staffed post, a patrol route or an installation gets quoted per site, and the drive time is in the quote.

How it works
How a Long Island community gets set up
There is no sign-up button. One of us verifies every community before it opens, and then we configure the site with you.
Step 1: A call about your community
Fifteen minutes on the phone. How many units, how many gates, who staffs them, and how a visitor gets in today.
Step 2: We verify and configure
We confirm the board and the property are what they say they are, set up your gates and rules, and load your roster.
Step 3: You go live
Residents and guards get access. Support stays with us, in Huntington.
FAQ
Questions Long Island boards ask us.
Cost, licensing, storms and your data. If yours is not here, ask on the call.
Do you offer virtual gate guards on Long Island?
Yes. A licensed security guard at our monitoring center can work your gate around the clock or for the hours you choose, often the nights, with a guard in the booth by day. The guard sees the car pull up on camera and greets the visitor right away, without the visitor pressing anything. Equipment is usually included at no extra charge, and we can offer a 90-day trial.
Do you actually serve my town on Long Island?
Yes. We work the whole of Nassau and Suffolk, from the Queens line out to Montauk and Orient, from our office at 709 W Jericho Tpke in Huntington. Guarding, patrol and camera work is quoted per site, and the drive time is in the quote.
Is the visitor management platform really free for a Long Island HOA?
Yes. There is no subscription, no per-resident fee and no trial that runs out, and none of it depends on whether we guard your gate. Passes, gate scanning, the entry log and board reports are all included. The only paid extras are text messages, access-control integration and white-labeling.
Are your guards licensed to work in New York?
Yes. Under New York’s Security Guard Act every guard has to register with the State and complete pre-assignment, on-the-job and annual training. Max Security USA holds the license to supply them. Ask us for the license details in writing before anyone starts a shift.
Our roads are private. Can we enforce speed limits and stop signs ourselves?
You can enforce your own rules, but not state traffic law. A notice from an HOA is not a summons, and no points go on anyone’s license. What a community can do is hold its residents to its governing documents, with a fine schedule the board has adopted and a way for a resident to dispute it. Every violation is captured on camera, and a person reviews it before anything goes out.
What happens if power or internet goes out during a storm?
The gate hardware fails open or fails secure the way it was configured. That is your call, not the software’s. A booth that loses its connection works the agreed procedure until the link is back, and the log catches up when it returns. Wallet passes keep working, and broadcasts go out over whatever is still up.
We are a seasonal community out east. Can it handle summer tenants and their guests?
Yes. A summer tenant gets resident-level access with an end date, and it expires on its own, so nobody on the board has to remember to remove them in September. Their guests and the shoulder-season contractors get windows of their own, and every entry stays in the log.
Who owns the data, and can we take it with us if we leave?
The community owns its records and can export them whenever it likes, leaving or not. We do not sell resident data, and on the free platform there is no contract to get out of.
